A leader at our Salisbury South site, as a Enrolled Nurse Team Leader you will lead a team of Enrolled Nurses within our Home Care division. You will work closely with Home Care team members, allied health professionals, and external providers to ensure a client-centered approach in meeting client needs, goals, and preferences.

 You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Delivering and implementing nursing services in line with contemporary nursing practice, Commonwealth and State legislation and regulations and funding guidelines
  • Overseeing treatments, dressings, observations, and other nursing care tasks, collaborating with the Registered Nurse or Clinical Lead for assessments when needed
  • Supporting the Enrolled Nurse team in providing information to clients and their advocates for informed decision-making regarding health needs.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A current AHPRA registration with 4 years post registration experience
  • Completed the relevant AHPRA Board approved medicine administration education units
  • The ability to work autonomously and under the direction of a Registered Nurse within a team environment
  • The ability to contribute in a team, while demonstrating leadership skills to support and develop staff
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people
  • Demonstrated commitment to continual professional and personal development
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Certification in Apply First Aid and CPR
  • A current motor vehicle driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with a minimum of third-party insurance
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Understanding of client directed care and rights-based approach
  • Previous experience in an Aged Care or disability work environment
  • Previous experience in community health
  • Management or Leadership qualification
