Clinical Team Leader - Specialist Nurses

About the role

The Clinical Team Leader position is to support and mentor our growing Clinical Team which entails Clinical Care Coordinators, Specialist Nurses, Registered Nurses and Enrolled nurses. This role is situated in the Adelaide city overseeing and growing our Clinical Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capability to educate, coach and mentor employees;

  • Experience in community nursing and acute/post-acute sectors with demonstrated understanding of the range of potential issues involved in the delivery of hospital substitution care within the home setting
  • Ability to work within the program guidelines of funded services;

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, in collaboration with employees within the organisation and with external agencies and personnel;

  • Awareness and commitment to best practice and clinical excellence

What you bring 

  • Registered Nurse (APRHA registration) with extensive clinical and management experience
  • Drivers licence, reliable care with comprehensive insurance
  • Experience in aged/community or disability sectors with demonstrated understanding of the range of potential issues involved and the clinical at home services required to re-able living at home
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse and delegation responsibilities within a community setting;
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and develop innovative strategies to support people requiring assistance to remain living independently within their own homes;
  • Knowledge of complex wounds, Negative Wound Pressure Therapy, IV medication management, PICC lines , pumps and infusers
  • Experience in development of business opportunities and contract development
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
