The Digital Platforms and Products Branch provide wholesale digital platforms and services that underpin the department's retail digital products and corporate systems. It provides the architectural guardrails for design and implementation of digital systems in the department to ensure sustainability and enable innovation. It drives and supports the adoption of DevOps practices to enable faster and more robust delivery of IT systems, including the uplift of testing practices. As well it manages digital platforms and products relating to Information and Records Management, ERP Systems and Web Systems.
Enterprise Architecture is a section within the Digital platforms and Products Branch. The Enterprise Architecture section's (EA) primary focus is to work with and support business areas to deliver fit-for-purpose architectural solutions that align with government direction and the departments ICT strategy. EA also has a strong governance role and maintains the Enterprise Architecture decisions registry and provides secretariat duties to the internal Assure and Align (A&A) Committee and provision of strategic advice and guidance to the senior executive Digital Enabling Steering Committee (DESC).

Key duties include:
- Support the directorate governance decision framework and corporate visibility, which includes maintaining the Enterprise Architecture Decision Register, MS Teams site information management and intranet content management.
- Assist in the administration of the DAFF Architectural Information System and establish its data governance policy and processes.
- Assist in the research and development of the DAFF Application Map to be used for strategic ICT uplift activities.
- Provide efficient and effective secretariat services to the Assure and Align (A&A) Committee, including mailbox and meeting coordination, minutes drafting and conduct continuous improvement activities of the committee governance arrangements.
- Support the Directorate's 'Show Space' events, which provide valuable departmental wide stakeholder visibility of ICT Architectural pattern development.
- Provide accurate, high quality and timely Directorate governance advice and report generation/analysis to the Directorate.
- Assist with the review and/or preparation of high-quality ICT Architectural briefing material, when required.
- Provide support to senior enterprise/solution architects at selected forums.
