This well-known Australian manufacturing organisation is seeking an Enterprise Architect to deliver outcomes and alignment to their IT Strategy by facilitating iterative technology maturity assessments with product owners, and helping them articulate an aligned vision and roadmap within their portfolio.
To be successful in this role you will need the ability to balance business strategic needs while ensuring the suitability of solution outcomes against the specific needs of the project or assignment.
Key activities
- Work with Product Owners and other heads of IT departments to develop robust, scalable and self-correcting templates for solution governance, individual stream roadmaps and for supporting digital
- Initiatives
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring they align to architectural guidelines
- Assist in business case and roadmap development, reviews, "POCs" and 'Prototypes'
- Review, interpret and respond to business requirements and specifications to ensure alignment between business expectations and current or future Business and/or IT capability
- Define and design technology solutions to assist in meeting business objectives
- Contribute to Current State and Future State Reference Models utilising frameworks such as ITIL, PEAF and TOGAF
- Contribute to Roadmaps along with Architecture Policy, Processes, Principles and Standards in support of Strategy and Architecture Deliverables
- Maintain appropriate professional designations and up-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in Senior Architecture roles developing Strategies & Roadmaps
- Experience in strategy and technical definition of Business and Information Technology Architecture evaluation and Options Assessment
- Ability to work with senior leaders across the business leading workshops and presentations
- Domain experience in development of or related experience in delivery of Application, Information, Integration, Process, Security and Technology Architecture artefacts
- Working knowledge of frameworks like ITIL, and TOGAF
- Manufacturing industry experience highly regarded
