About the role:
Working closely with the Head of Information Security & EnergyAustralia’s Chief Architect, the Enterprise Domain Architect (Security) will provide top down, strategic security architecture advice, expertise and thought leadership across the enterprise. Your role will to be review, analyse, and develop a strategic framework that will address both the short- and long-term requirements and guide the business in implementing these requirements Additionally responsibilities include:
- Develops enterprise-wide blueprints and roadmaps that can be used by all teams to guide the solution decisions that they make. These blueprints and roadmaps will describe the future state enterprise architecture and the transitional states on how we will achieve that future state
- Engage with the wider Strategy and Planning teams and communicates with both external (e.g. vendors) and internal (e.g. business leaders) parties to create future state enterprise security architecture views and portfolios that are aligned with strategic intent
- Provides thought leadership on enterprise architecture, specifically within the security domain, and fosters an environment of continuous improvement
- Manage the security architectural impacts of business change
- Identify and recommend new and emerging technologies, products, services, methods and techniques and the assessment of their relevance and potential value to EnergyAustralia
- Provide expert guidance to solution architects and delivery teams
Be a success in this role:
To be successful in this role you must be a seasoned senior cyber security architect with highly developed communication skills who can work quickly to establish relationships and build networks. Additionally you will have some of the following expertise:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant work experience
- Additional advanced security qualifications such as SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certifications are desirable
- Excellent working knowledge of current IT and security risks and experience implementing security solutions
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorisation
- Strategic thinking capability with commercial acumen with the ability to drive business benefits
- Excellent presentation development and delivery skills at all levels including Senior Executive level
- The ability to explain technical security requirements in a non-technical manner
- Experience and knowledge of Identity & Access Management, Data Security, Application Security, Security Testing, Infrastructure Security, Security Operations and Cloud Security
