Exciting new opportunity for a seasoned Enterprise Architect
Key Duties:
- Establish and uphold the Enterprise Architecture roadmap, principles, information repository, and standards
- Execute technology solutions across the enterprise that are in sync with organisational objectives
- Carry out research on innovative technologies to guide architectural decisions.
- Spot opportunities for automation and digital innovation.
- Guide the team in the design, construction, and management of technology solutions to tackle business problems.
- Address issues in solution architectures, evaluating and mitigating potential risks.
- Assure solution through thorough testing and validation processes.
- Formulate technical governance frameworks to ensure compliance with architectural principles and standards.
- Work together with stakeholders to identify, analyse, and document business requirements, converting them into technical solutions.
- Formulate high-level and detailed solution architectures that are in line with our strategic technology direction.
- Offer technical guidance, consultation, and direction on projects and initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to pinpoint and tackle enterprise-level risks and challenges.
- Build and sustain relationships to encourage collaboration with partners and vendors, ensuring alignment with our strategic technology direction.
Experience and Knowledge:
- 8+ years of experience in technology management and Enterprise Architecture.
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining Enterprise Architecture roadmap, principles, and standards.
- Broad experience of providing technical and architectural guidance in IT and OT.
- Proficiency in conducting research on new and emerging technologies.
- Prior involvement in project management, contributing to a well-rounded skill set.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of cybersecurity controls in a regulated industry setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of architectural principles and technologies related to cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, integration patterns, and application servers.
- Deep knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and Industrial IoT.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, with specific experience on platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Expertise in business architecture, showcasing proficiency in understanding and managing data flows within a business context.
- Pragmatic and forward-thinking mindset, demonstrating confidence in decision-making abilities related to design considerations.
