Position Overview:
 
We are in search of a Enterprise Architect. In this role, you will serve as a strategic liaison between our cyber team and Enterprise Architect team, collaborating closely with both to develop and implement robust security architectures that meet the unique needs and regulatory requirements of our financial services clients.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of security-focused Enterprise Architectures for our financial services offerings, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SEC guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the cyber team to identify security risks and vulnerabilities within our financial services infrastructure, and work with the Enterprise Architect team to design and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on security-related matters within the financial services domain, providing guidance and support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the cyber team and Enterprise Architect team, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into all stages of the architecture lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats and trends within the financial services industry, and proactively recommend measures to enhance the security posture of our systems and applications.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the Enterprise Architect and cyber teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in Enterprise Architecture, with a focus on security, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of security standards and regulations relevant to the financial services industry, such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, SEC guidelines, and FFIEC.
  • Proven experience bridging the gap between cyber teams and Enterprise Architect teams, with a track record of successfully integrating security measures into complex architectures.
  • Strong understanding of financial services technologies and processes, including banking systems, trading platforms, payment gateways, and regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or FAIR are highly desirable.
