Queensland Rail has implemented an extensive Integrated Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and is now several years along in its maturity in Asset Maintenance, Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM), Geographical Information System (GIS) and mobility processes.
About the team:
Our Asset Systems team have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced EAMS Officer - Asset Data Governance to join the team and participate as an active member of the Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS) Team in extending the practices, methodologies, and processes in the organisation. Our team look after the Asset and Maintenance data for Queensland Rail in EAMS (SAP). We work with the Asset Management stakeholders from across the business to ensure their data is entered into the system correctly and their requirements are met.
This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Manage multi-disciplinary Asset Data autonomously within the ALM systems Identify Asset Data inconsistencies through various methods and raise this with senior team members to determine best course of action.
- Provide professional end-to-end data Asset Management and communications with stakeholder across other business functions.
- Assist the EAMS Team Leader - Asset Data Governance in the development, implementation, integration and ongoing governance of ALM systems and their respective design philosophies within an integrated framework.
At a minimum we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the below skills and experience and is aligned to the requirements of this role:
- Demonstrated substantial knowledge of Asset Data Management requirements particularly within SAP system.
- Keen eye for detail with ability to look for and promptly pick up data anomalies and flags.
- Strong interpersonal communication, consultation and negotiation skills that builds and sustains productive relationships and partnerships for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Willingness for continual growth and knowledge, to ensure we have capability of future systems enhancements, future vision and collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong technical skills within wide range of software packages including Excel.
