Our Organisation

The Benevolent Society’s vision is to build a just society where all Australians can live their best life. For more than 200 years we have supported people at the margins of society: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians; children, young people, and their families; older people; carers and people with disability. We are an independent, non-religious service provider which supports people to live life their way.

As part of The Benevolent Society's vision, we are strongly committed to reconciliation with our First Nations people of Australia. We remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting the economic, political, and social inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

About the role

Our Resilient Families program is a therapeutic, evidence informed program designed to provide 12-month, intensive, in-home support to families with at least one child aged 9 years and under. This is an innovative funding model developed in partnership with the South Australian Government. The Benevolent Society is the first organisation to deliver this program in South Australia.

As our Case Manager, you will provide intensive support to families enabling children to live safely at home where there are significant complex vulnerabilities. You will provide intensive case management including in-home practical and therapeutic support from an evidence informed, Resilience led approach. You will improve children’s well-being by strengthening family functioning and relationships.
