High on the agenda is the acquisition of an outstanding Data Architect for their innovative Sydney based Professional Services team.
What you will do
As a key member of a high impact global team, this unique, pivotal position requires a seasoned professional who has deep experience within Data Warehousing, Analytics, Big Data and AI with experience in the design of elegant solutions to address complex data related issues impacting very large organisations. This position will play an instrumental role within each project and have the ability to influence outcomes at the highest level. Working closely with a leading team of professional services experts working on-site, the key responsibilities for the Data Architect include:
- Delivering Technical Consultancy services to clients
- Work with clients to demonstrate how to get more value from data. Demonstrate that your employer's data analytic solutions are underpinned by their market leading approach to Information Architecture.
- Work to evolve your clients' information architecture to provide a broad spectrum of analytic capabilities from a one-system approach to an ecosystem that provides a way to use the most appropriate data storage platforms to deliver analytic capability.
- Advisory - Help your clients to understand that Information Architecture cannot be viewed in isolation to other key aspects of data management and discovery. To be truly successful, effort must start with the business drivers, priorities and needs
- Be an advocate for proprietary architecture principles and standards, assisting to put these in place. Information Architecture, as my client defines it, is not just referring to the technical design and structure, but to the overall governance design and supporting capabilities required to effectively develop, deploy and maintain information solutions
What we require
- Deep Information Architecture experience with multifaceted knowledge of Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Big Data solutions
- Previous experience consulting to large organisations on information and data issues.
- Ability to articulate a vision and earn trust
- Excellent communication experience
- Strong relationship building ability
