- Apply your engineering knowledge to diverse projects in infrastructure, residential, and commercial developments and contribute to optimal outcomes for our clients while prioritizing environmental and the health of the wider community
- Receive appropriate training, guidance and supervision to provide:
- Construction phase support services, e.g. observe temporary excavation/slope stability, pavement subgrade, founding level, witness proof rolling, compaction test, assess crane/crane platform bearing capacity, and other earthworks related site observations/assessments
- Geotechnical and pavement investigations, including desktop study and fieldwork, e.g. geotechnical borehole and test pit logging, DCP testing, hand augers and geotechnical/engineering geological mapping
- Data management, interpretation and reporting, such as preparation of borehole logs, geotechnical investigation reports and development of geotechnical models
- Geotechnical engineering analysis/assessment, including shallow and deep foundations, slopes and retaining structures, pavement and deep excavation-and-lateral support in soil and rock
- Preparation of specifications, proposals and other documentation
- Liaise and network with clients on project needs
- Develop an appropriate level of self-efficiency and flexibility to effectively handle varying workload
- Operate with due diligence and exercise reasonable care and skill to perform duty at work at all times
- Be a key contributor to the team, embodying ADE's high standard in safety and professional practice by reporting incidents, adherence to our Integrated Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System (IMS) requirements, shaping a workplace that prioritizes individual well-being, social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Holds a valid unrestricted driver's license for use in Australia.
- Ability to conduct fieldwork, including site investigations and willingness to work in remote areas.
- Developing technical design and report/proposal writing skills, with basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Adheres to relevant systems and procedures, emphasizing attention to detail.
- Demonstrates awareness of risk management, ethics, and safety practices.
- Prioritises client-centric principles and ensures completion of assigned tasks within budget and on time.
- Commits to continuous professional development and values feedback.
- Aligns with the company's vision, maintains a professional image, and delivers accurate work under pressure.
