The Role
In response to the rapid growth and success of our geotechnical team, EI currently presents an excellent and exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team, providing a platform for career advancement for young engineers.
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of professionals, engaging in a variety of projects and actively participating in providing Geotechnical Engineering advice to our clients. The role encompasses fieldwork, design, reporting, proposal preparation, and client liaison.
Ultimately, we aim to continue the upward trajectory of our geotechnical team, and we invite you to contribute to our growth and success as we expand our capabilities and client base.
To be successful, you are expected to possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
- 2+ years of local experience.
- Proficiency in geotechnical investigation fieldwork and inspections.
- Ability to produce geotechnical reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, social acumen, and robust technical knowledge.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Team collaboration skills with other professionals.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software.
- Experience with gINT, Plaxis, WALLAP, and GeoStudio software.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
