About the role
In this role, you can expect plenty of variety. In addition to 'typical' recruitment activities, we are looking for someone who is eager and willing to learn how to scribe government recruitment processes. This may involve working on-site with our government clients, taking notes at interviews and Panel debriefs, conducting reference checks and preparing well-written and defensible selection reports.
Duties
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including posting job ads, interviewing candidates, reference checking and negotiating contract terms
- Assisting with government recruitment processes, scribing and report writing
- Managing databases and performing administrative tasks
Over time, you will have the opportunity to deal directly with clients of the business.
Our ideal candidate
We are looking for a “people person” who is empathetic, approachable, and able to get along well with a range of personality types. We’re open to considering applications from any intelligent, driven professionals who have demonstrable customer service experience, excellent attention to detail and a strong written communication skills.
From our experience, candidates with experience in sales, hospitality and/or retail tend to thrive in the recruitment industry. Experience working in or with government agencies and/or an understanding of the APS will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
We are ideally seeking a candidate who can work full-time hours, but are open to those who can work 4 days per week.
