The Team

Our Workforce, Change & Skills team empowers our clients to plan, prepare for and take advantage of the rapid changes to work and their workforce. We work across elements including organisation and culture, future of work and workforce, learning and capability uplift and change strategy and delivery.

The Role

Do you want a chance to make a difference working with federal government clients and using your experience in workforce and HR?  Then this is the role for you - we are looking for energetic, experienced Senior Associates and Managers and industry experts to join our Workforce, Change and Skills team. 

At Scyne Australia, you’ll play a role in driving workforce and HR transformation. As part of a team your focus will be implementing Workforce Planning related to workforce or HR transformation for federal government and non-profit clients.

In this role, you will create value by: 

  • Workforce Planning: Supporting the development and execution of Workforce Planning strategies to optimise resource allocation, enhance operational efficiency, and align with organisational objectives and strategy. 
  • Workforce Strategy: Supporting the development of workforce strategies for our federal government and non-profit clients aligned with their strategic priorities as a department or organisation. 
  • Data Analytics: Utilise advanced analytical tools and techniques to gather, interpret, and present workforce data insights, enabling informed decision-making and proactive talent management initiatives. 
  • Forecasting and Modelling: Utilise forecasting models and scenario analyses to anticipate future workforce trends, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. 
  • Performance Measurement: Establish performance metrics and KPIs to assess workforce effectiveness, monitor key trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. 
  • Stakeholder Consultation: Consult with key stakeholders across the department or organisation to understand current state and skill/resource gaps to make recommendations around workforce strategy and planning. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, operations, and Senior management to integrate workforce analytics into business planning processes and drive strategic workforce management initiatives.

Technically, you will bring to the position:

  • Experience in Workforce Strategy: Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of Workforce Strategy aligning to organisational goals and strategic priorities.                                 
  • Experience in Workforce Planning: Demonstrated experience in Workforce planning to optimise resource allocation, enhance operation efficiency and align with organisational objectives and strategy. 
  • Experience in Stakeholder Consultation: Demonstrated experience managing key stakeholders through the consultation process to identify key skill and resource gaps to inform Workforce Planning and strategies. 
  • Experience in Workforce Analytics: Demonstrated track record in applying workforce analytics methodologies to solve complex business challenges and drive operational improvements.

Recruitment and assessment process
