About the Role
Following the implementation of our Santos Regional Model, Santos has multiple new Information Systems opportunities available in Adelaide. These are fantastic opportunities to join an ASX20 company, and for you to grow your career in our head office.
This position reports to the Corporate Applications Manager and is responsible for the successful delivery of all applications in the Environment & Access application portfolio. These are primarily centred around EarthSoft, Landfolio and MS Dynamics 365 built applications.
This role will be delivered in line with company values and the Santos Management System. Key accountabilities include:
- Manage internal and external stakeholders ensuring expectations are aligned and application of the correct policies and procedures.
- Apply innovative thinking in area of expertise through industry and company knowledge - develop, advise, recommend and deliver plans aligning to the company's strategy.
- Oversee Santos’ Managed Services Provider to ensure that they are providing contracted services as per expectations.
- Advocate change and foster performance culture to achieve desired culture outcomes.
- Ensure that all Environment & Access applications, whether 'on-premise' in the AWS cloud or as true SaaS offerings, are maintained effectively.
- Implement and deliver cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies where relevant to applications, platforms and 'as a service' offerings.

About You
To be successful in this role, we are seeking for professionals with the following essential work experience:
- Experience in managing vendors across multiple projects and BAU service activities.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing IS contracts and ensuring delivery of agreed service levels.
- Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills.
- Proficient in development and maintenance of IS strategies and roadmaps for the portfolio of services.
Desirable experience for this role includes:
- Good technical background is preferred as this role requires experience in obtaining technical support and services.
- Experienced in providing application implementation and on-going maintenance services and a good working knowledge of the industry standard software and applications relevant to the portfolio.
- Proficient in cost management and analysis.
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
- ITIL certification is preferred.
Ideally, you have a degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in IT or demonstrate significant training and experience within directly relevant role(s), within large corporate environments.
