Key Client - Progressive Environmental & Circular Economy Team
Our key client is seeking expressions of interest for a passionate Environmental Consultant (minimum 7 years’ experience) to join their growing Waste Management and Circular Economy team.
Based in their Cremorne, Victoria office, the applicant should have a bachelor's degree or higher qualification in environmental science, natural resource management, conservation or another related field to be eligible to apply for this position.

As an Environmental Consultant within our clients organisation, you will provide expert assessment and advisory services for our client base which includes public sector and commercial organisations.
This will include matters pertaining to the management of environmental issues.
You will be required to have an extensive knowledge of current environmental policy and regulations, management systems and processes. You will have the ability to use your scientific knowledge and technical expertise to conduct thorough environmental assessments through both field and desk-based research, and the subsequent preparation of associated detailed written reports or expert witness statements.
As the successful applicant, you will assist clients to design and implement efficient waste management systems and processes to mitigate current and future environmental damage. Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that revised environmental policies and procedures comply with environmental laws and regulations. You may also be responsible for raising organisational awareness on the importance of conservation, sustainability and other environment-related matters.
As part of our clients organisation, in your role of Environmental Consultant, you may address issues such as:
- — Waste management policies
- — Preparation of fee proposals for new waste management projects.
- — Preparation of Waste Management Plan reports.
- — Designing waste management systems.
- — Advising clients on waste management equipment.
- — Day to day liaison with clients and Council officers.

This will be a full-time position and the salary in the range of $75,000 to $95,000 per annum plus Superannuation.
