A unique and specific opportunity for a Contaminated Land Consultant to join one of our clients in Victoria. The role offers interesting and challenging work with the opportunity to make your mark in a consulting environment with the opportunity to lead the environmental projects.
About the Role:
- Technical assistance for investigation and remediation project planning and implementation.
- Working with a broad range of clients and technical experts to develop and delivery client-focused solutions.
- Interpret data from a variety of disciplines and use your understanding of environmental, planning, regulatory and policy requirements for client improvements and regulations.
- Technical review of contaminated land and environmental reports.
- Lead fieldwork campaigns including soil, groundwater and surface water sampling, supervision of drilling, test pitting and groundwater well installation.
- Develop reports to exceptional technical and editorial standard and the work collaboratively with the team to meet client expectations.
- Proposal and project management support to the contaminated land team.
- Assist in project planning and deliverables.
- Interpret lab and field data, perform analysis, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers.
- Provide support for contaminated land audits.
- Degree in environmental engineering or science disciplines.
- 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Adaptability to the diverse nature of consultancy work.
- Relevant experience in undertaking contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations.
- A strong professional work ethic and commitment to health and safety for yourself, your team, subcontractors and clients
- A desire to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Working rights in Australia including: Valid visa, Permanent Residency or citizenship.
- Quick learner with a passion for achieving best practice outcomes.
- Ability to work well in a close-knit team environment.
- Strong work ethic with a desire for learning.
- Current driver’s license.
