Graduate Environmental Consultant & OHS Consultant - Melbourne With an ever increasing client base, this niche family owned consultancy requires Environmental Consultants to work in and manage investigation and remediation projects in Melbourne, from our Footscray office.
Additionally, occupational hygiene works in hazardous materials / asbestos surveys, and in ESP’s NATA asbestos laboratory to be trained in asbestos fibre identification and counting via microscopy is required.
Background Tertiary level qualification degree in BSc/B Eng in Environmental, Geology, Earth Science or Hydrogeology from a recognised Australian institution. A driver’s licence is a must.
Experience It would be preferable if studies or work experience pertain to relevant Contaminated Land in all or a selection of environmental site assessments, soil geology, groundwater investigations and monitoring, soil waste characterisation, remedial action and environmental management planning for environmental auditing, divestment/acquisition, due diligence assessments, environmental legislative compliance i.e. NEPM and environmental management systems. A working understanding of Contaminated Land & OHS guidelines and experience in Australia.
