We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in becoming Field Technicians or Team Leaders in our dynamic Environmental Department.

How will you contribute? 

As an Environmental Field Technician - 

  • Loading vehicles with necessary equipment for daily tasks. 
  • Conducting environmental services such as hand weeding, brush cutting, planting, seeding and clearing. 
  • Working at high standard of WHS & Quality.
  • Ensuring proper pack down of vehicles and equipment upon return to the depot. 
  • Maintaining cleanliness and proper upkeep of the yard, vehicles and equipment. 

As an Environmental Team Leader – 

  • Leading the team in native planting, weed management, revegetation, native landscaping, pest and disease management. 
  • Effectively communicating internally & externally 
  • Handling quoting and reporting duties. 
  • Solutions based thinking 

To be successful in these roles, you should demonstrate the following skills and attributes: 

  • A good level of fitness is crucial for effectively performing the job. 
  • A positive and eager attitude with a willingness to learn - we can teach skill, but we can't teach good attitude.
  • A genuine commitment to ongoing upskilling in area's that affect your role such as Weed/Plant I.D. knowledge & WHS standards
  • Passion for the environment, sustainability and flora & fauna. 
  • A White Card (Company Requirement - can be obtained if you/re successful)
  • A valid C Class driver’s license (Essential). 
  • Team leadership experience or strong field experience will be an advantage. 

Favourable Qualifications and Certificates: 

  • Qualifications in Conservation / Land Management, Environmental Science or Horticulture. 
  • Health Department of WA pesticide license 
  • Current First Aid Certificate 
  • Demonstrated in field experience 

Salary will be based on experience. Candidates will undergo a Pre-employment medical examination before commencement.
