Job description
Colac Otway Shire Council is seeking to employ a Environmental Health Officer in a permanent full time position.
As the Environmental Health Officer you will ensure that Council:
Maintains a high standard of public health and wellbeing in accordance with legislative requirements, internal standard operating procedures and Council policies.
Promotes and enhances community wellbeing through education, advice and the provision of information.
Fulfils the statutory inspections and assessment requirements in line with Council’s internal Health Protection Unit key performance indicators as set by the Councils Coordinator Environmental Health.
Provides support and guidance as required to the Environmental Health Technical Officers in all public and Environmental Health matters.
Deliver Council’s Domestic Wastewater Management Action Plan.
Salary information: $93,904.20 to $103,858.56 per annum plus superannuation.
