This opportunity is located in regional Victoria and relocation would be required for Melbourne applicants.
We are seeking a tertiary qualified Environmental Officer , requiring skills in monitoring, data analysis, equipment usage and maintenance. This role focuses on implementing the Environmental Management System and ensuring regulatory adherence. We are looking to hear from candidates with a strong commercial acumen and project management skills. The ability to interpret and analyse software data in order in order to produce clear reports of a high standard is a requirement.
Prerequisites
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Tertiary education in environmental science or engineering
- Understanding of Mann-Kendall or Minitab statistical software
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and environmental best practices (EPA, Australian Standards)
- Experience in environmental management systems and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with Australian environmental and sustainability regulations and international sustainability frameworks (e.g., UN SDGs, NGERS etc)
