A statutory authority responsible for protecting the environment. You'll work with the Science team based in Melbourne.
Your new role
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, you'll:
- Create and execute a single project, requiring the creation, measurement, and assessment of multiple large tyre piles. Planning the project, which will be extended to executing the field work section of the project depending on site availability and timeframe
- Develop detailed work and safety plans, gain required internal and external approvals, assist with council permits and stakeholder agreements
- Conduct site supervision, contractor management, safety reporting and project reporting
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have qualifications in Environmental Science or Geology and a thorough understanding of project management as well as:
- Relevant experience in site management
- Experience with management of moving plants, site work and field investigations
- Safety assessments and reporting
- Experience working on sites with overhead wires and similar
- Planning projects of a similar scale
