Environmental Scientist

Boyds Bay Environmental Services Pty Ltd is a leading environmental management and consulting company that provides professional, technical and scientific services encompassing clearing assessments, monitoring, reporting and the development of fauna/flora management plans. We work with Teir 1 and Teir 2 civil and construction companies, land developers, all levels of government, project builders and private land owners across New South Wales and Queensland.

We have an opportunity available for an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team at our Tweed Heads office. With an extensive industry network of contacts and clients, you will be joining a company that has established itself as a recognised industry leader with the capability, knowledge and experience to support you in your role.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Professional qualification/s in Environmental Science.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience.
• Overseeing and managing environmental processes, from planning and implementation through to management and monitoring.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and planning requirements.
• Be able to problem solve and develop appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate teams and projects.
• Previous experience supervising teams highly desirable.
• Business management skills are favourable.
