Start your Jacobs career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed – today and into tomorrow.

An exciting new opportunity is available for an Environmental Scientist or Environmental Planer to join our Planning and Environmental Approvals team based in Brisbane.

With a strong pipeline of work in the renewable energy, energy storage, water, defence and transport sectors our Queensland team is expanding. The team is part of a national planning and environmental approvals practice, enabling you to work on projects across Australia with our 250 strong Environmental Solutions business.

The role:

You will work alongside highly experienced professionals that will support you to grow and develop professionally. You will:

  • Have access to career development framework to guide your career growth.
  • Receive coaching and mentoring from industry leaders in a work environment that values diversity, flexibility and professional development.

Here’s what you’ll need:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to work across a diverse suite of projects across multiple industry sectors. In this role you will develop your consulting, writing, project management and technical skills through delivering a range of environmental consulting projects. You will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Queensland and Commonwealth legislation.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong motivation and ability to work self-directed.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Interest and aptitude in working across multiple disciplines and sectors.

We offer a flexible hybrid (home/office) working arrangement to promote work-life balance and the role can be full time or part time to suit your needs.
