Environmental Scientists / Consultants - Mid-Level & Senior

We are seeking mid-level (
5 years’ experience) and senior (
8 years’ experience) environmental consulting staff.
CQG is one of regional Queensland’s leading environmental, planning and engineering consultancies with staff in Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, Gladstone and Brisbane. We deliver personalised, tailored advice to our clients in government, mining, construction, Defence, tourism, oil and gas and agriculture.
You must have:

• Qualifications in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology or chemistry and experience in two or more of the following disciplines:

• mine site remediation
• environmental monitoring
• onsite environmental advisory services
• water quality and REMPs
• MEDLI modelling
• vegetation surveys
• waste management
• contaminated land investigations
• Excellent research / investigation, and written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management skills and a commitment to delivering quality outputs for our clients
• Connections and preferably experience in regional Queensland
• Consulting experience preferred
• Desire and physical ability to work outdoors from time to time
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction
• Willingness to roll your sleeves up and have a go
• A full current drivers licence
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment and to work independently.
• Willingness to travel as and when required
• Passion for learning and finding better ways of doing things
• High standard in ensuring a positive workplace and WHS culture
• Track record working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to achieve outcome and deadlines
• Creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills
