Our Clive Burdeu Residential Aged Care Service is looking for an Environmental Service Worker to join the team on a casual basis. In this role you will be responsible for kitchen, dining room, laundry and cleaning duties within our facility.
In this varied role you will:
- Assist in the preparation of meals; maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment;
- Assist with the serving of meals, including setting up and cleaning the dining room, trolleys and trays;
- Be responsible for laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing; maintain the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment;
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility's residential areas.
You will be a supportive person who is looking to join a dedicated team and contribute to the provision of excellent care to our much-loved residents.
To be successful in this role your skills and experience will ideally include:
- Previous relevant work experience, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team environment will be highly regarded;
- Experience working in the aged care industry is desirable but not essential;
- Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and/or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar is desirable, however, we will provide you with training to succeed in this role;
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook and Internet Explorer;
- A current National Police Certificate - or the ability to acquire.
