About the Opportunity
As a CleanCo Environmental Specialist, you will provide expert support and advice across our portfolio of diverse energy assets spread across Queensland. You will consult on the complex and changing legislative and regulatory landscape of our operations and ensure that our business is conducted in alignment with our values, policies, standards and procedures.
You will apply your depth and breadth of knowledge to a new and establishing organisation with an exciting growth trajectory. This role is based in Brisbane and includes semi-regular travel to our sites in SEQ and FNQ.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in a similar high-risk work in industry supported by relevant tertiary qualifications (Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering)
- Working knowledge of environmental legislation and regulation in the power generating industry, including the wet tropics, and construction projects
- You hold qualifications as a Certification Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) and/or ICAM Lead Investigator Certification, with Environmental Auditing certification
- You’re great at seeing the big picture and being the expert and are just as happy to roll up your sleeves dig deep.
- Building relationships and rapport with a range of people comes naturally, and you are just as at ease collaborating with senior leadership as you are with all team members across our sites.
- Experience in driving environmental initiatives and outcomes across multi-site and culturally diverse environments
- You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.
