The opportunity
As an Environmental Technician at Perilya Broken Hill, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding the company's commitment to environmental compliance and best practices within our mining operations. Reporting directly to the Environmental Superintendent, you'll actively contribute to supporting environmental management activities across both the Perilya Broken Hill and Port Pirie operations. Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting air quality assessments.
- Performing nose and vibration sampling.
- Managing ground, surface water and weeds.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders.

What will you bring?
To be successful in this role you will have:
- High school graduate.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Strong interest in environmental sustainability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- A demonstrated ongoing commitment to safe work practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with high computer literacy skills
- Current Australian Drivers License.
