The Role
We are recruiting for multiple roles at varying levels across the East Coast. We are keen to hear from Defence and Government professionals who specialise in Safety Engineering.
This role will see you perform all work which involves conventional engineering practice and may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. You will provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Duties performed will impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Degree level qualifications; Chartered Professional Engineer, Mechatronics or Mechanical or similar
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a broad range of safety engineering work tasks
- Working knowledge of ASDEFCON Contracting framework (above and/or below the line)
- Experience in risk management
- Australian Citizen with a current AGSVA clearance or the ability to obtain one
