This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
About the Role:
This continuous applicant pool is open to candidates that are current departmental employees and meet the mandatory requirements of the role as detailed in the attached role description.
Engagements from this applicant pool will be for vacancies up to 6 months in duration. The Metropolitan South Region has five Director portfolios:

• Education Services
• Student, Child and Family Connect
• Capability
• Student Services
• Programs and Partnerships

As an Acting Director in the Metropolitan South Region you will lead a team of specialist staff in providing high-quality services and support across the region.
Responsibilities include:

• Provide high level leadership as a member of the regional leadership team to ensure continual improvement of services and support;
• Lead, monitor and report on service outcomes to members of the regional leadership team;
• Undertake ongoing analysis of a wide range of data to enhance service outcomes and ensure the alignment of resources to areas of need;
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams providing quality services and support to schools and students.
