The Project Manager is responsible for generating and delivering a variety of project work on our customer sites and have full accountability and responsibility for managing and delivery of project works.
Here's a snapshot of your day;
- Identify and generate a short-medium and long-term pipeline of Project opportunities from within a set portfolio of global maintenance contracts
- Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor
- Work with developers, designers, and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s) and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome
- Manage, run, and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns
- Identify, reduce, and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project(s) being led
- Ensure CBRE WHS and Quality practices and processes are fully embedded and compliant in each project
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end” including but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, direct procurement of sub-contractors by trade category, sub-contractor management and site manager duties as the Head or ‘Principal’ Contractor
- Provide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director in an agreed format
- Full accountability for the P&L on each project and ensuring that all financial objectives are met plus analyzing variances and initiate corrective actions.
Skills and experience you'll need to thrive in this role:
- Minimum of 3-5 years proven Project Management experience in an M&E, FM, construction, HVAC or critical environment
- Proven experience of running successful tender bids
- Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team
- Recognized technical qualification in construction, BMS, HVAC, mechanical or electrical – Engineering background preferred
