Our goal at Talent Quarter is to be the premium provider of care and support to our NDIS customers. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated support worker for a delightful young woman living with Prader Willie Syndrome and Intellectual Disability in Western Australia. She thrives on routine and seeks support from individuals who treat her with respect and kindness. She enjoys engaging with phones and maintaining her daily activities in a secure environment.
About you…
· Must have experience with working with clients with Prader Willie Syndrome and Intellectual Disability
· Must be experienced with managing challenging behaviours.
· Must be able to drive and have own transport.
· Ability to use interpersonal, verbal, and written skills to successfully build professional supportive relationships with the client.
· Ability to implement support plans to empower participants to live a meaningful life.
· Be confident, proactive, engaging, and adaptable in your interaction with the participant.
· Great understanding on the importance of risks and reporting.
About the role….
· Social care support
· Assist with personal care and complete light domestic duties.
· Mealtime management
· Transport to and pick up from school.
Requirements…
· Cert III in Disability Supports
· National Police check within 12 months.
· Med Administration (HLTHPS006)
· NDIS screening check
· Conduct Manual Tasks Safely- (HLTWHS005 or HLTWHS002)
· Current Provide First Aid and CPR certificate.
