We've been engaged by our long standing Sydney based client to assist in the sourcing of an ERP Program Architect to join them on an initial 12mth contract basis with view to extend - 3yrs program of work - so extensions will be available
Previous complex ERP program experience is very much preferred for this opportunity.
Experience
- 7yrs + years of experience as an ERP Program Architect (or equivalent), with successful track record in designing, developing, and implementing architectural frameworks for complex ERP systems.
- Strong experience with Operating Model (and service delivery models) design and implementation from a technology perspective, including supporting organisational design, business process transformation and major changes in ways of working and roles and responsibilities
- Strong experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA), particularly how large programs fit into and drive changes to an EA, particularly from an ERP perspective.
- Strong experience with Application Architecture, including structure, behaviour, and deployment models, with proven experience with one or more industry leading ERP products (e.g., Oracle, Workday).
- Proven experience with selection of ERP platforms and end to end participation in at least one HR or Finance Software as a Service cloud-based transformation project / program.
- Prior experience in end to end ERP software implementation such as designing business solutions, configuring system setups, integrating systems, migrating data, conducting comprehensive testing and seamless transition to production systems is highly preferred.
- Experience within the University / higher education sector is preferred.
Responsibilities;
- Lead the design and architecture of the ERP solution, considering business requirements, principles, standards, guidelines, and technology.
- Define a comprehensive and scalable architecture strategy that aligns with the long-term vision. This includes defining the scope, objectives, and expected outcomes.
- Define the high-level technical architecture of the ERP Program, including integration solutions, data flows, application landscape, and technology stack.
- Document and create a comprehensive ERP system blueprint / landscape diagram, outlining the high-level technical solution and components of the solution.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the ERP Program roadmap by providing valuable architectural insights and recommendations, ensuring that integration strategies, technologies, and design principles are aligned with the overall program objectives.
- Collaborate with business units to analyse, extend and update functional and technical requirements for the ERP system. Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure that all requirements are properly documented.
- Stay up-to-date with latest ERP / technology trends to inform the ERP Program's technical direction.
- Review Business Requirements produced by Business Analysts.
- Ensure solutions conform to strategic roadmaps set by the Enterprise Architecture team.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in computer science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent (and extensive relevant experience).
- Certifications in frameworks / standards such as TOGAF, CITA, EACOE, ArchiMate, ITIL and CAUDIT architecture standards are highly regarded.
