Infrastructure Solution Architect - Transformation Program

A leading Financial Services provider is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Architect to join their team on a long, fixed-term contract.

This organisation is currently embarking on a number of large Transformation Programs. The first program encompasses the modernisation of their on-prem infrastructure, decommissioning and deploying a modern, IaaC / automated infrastructure stack and migration of existing applications onto the new target state infrastructure. The second program is the design and build of a new data centre environment.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a depth and breadth of experience across a wide variety of infrastructure technologies and platforms, with proven experience in large migration program and/or new data centre builds. You will have proven experience defining target state architecture, with strong skills in engaging / consulting with stakeholders from different parts of the business, leading the design and solutioning and partnering with the engineering team to ensure delivery within tight deadlines.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications
• Strong experience working as an Infrastructure Solution Architect within large complex environments
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with a variety of technologies including different operating systems (Windows / Linux), networking, storage, database, middleware, virtualisation, security and DevOps tools
• Proven experience working on large migration programs and/or new data centre builds
• Superior stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and influence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
