Work for a global sustainability leader in a greenfield opportunity to lead the implementation of internal processes and Governance for our ESG metrics

Are you a Sustainability/ESG finance specialist looking to join a global ASX-listed organisation recognised as one of the most sustainable companies in the world?

As a valued member of our ESG Finance team, you will working with stakeholders from across our global business to implement a structured, quarterly reporting process for all ESG metrics. This position will be based at our Global Head Office in Sydney CBD and reports directly to the ESG Global Finance Lead. We offer flexible hybrid working.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead the implementation of internal processes and Governance to ensure a robust controls environment for Brambles’s ESG metrics
  • Implement quarterly reporting processes and manage the assurance process
  • Prepare robust, easy to understand and globally aligned process documentation to support our calculations and metrics
  • Become a subject matter expert in ESG reporting
  • Perform data analysis of ESG metrics against business performance
  • Manage the half yearly assurance process by coordinating the provision of data, supporting documentation, and connecting with key stakeholders to support the assurance process.
  • Assist in the compilation of our suite of ESG external reporting

What will ensure your success:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related area
  • CA/CPA qualified or equivalent preferred
  • An ability to draft documentation that is clear, easy to understand and up to date
  • A strong focus on process improvement with good attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate, collaborate and influence multiple stakeholders across a global organisation
