This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a suitably qualified and/or experienced applicant to support our Northern Construction Business Unit; to deliver positive outcomes for our people and clients.
This full-time role, based in Launceston and Reporting to the Northern Commercial Manager will provide estimating support to our project team, including:
- Preparing basic materials take-off estimates using estimating software system
- Organising and preparing tender documentation
- Assessing tender site conditions
- Printing and categorising quotes, specifications and drawing
- Liaising with clients and architects to gather information
- Liaising with relevant sub-contractors to obtain tender pricing
- General administrative requirements of the estimating department
- Taking and distributing minutes for estimating meetings
- Undertake research as requested
Not only will you will bring you knowledge and skills, but also:
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with a positive client focused outcome
- Strong co-ordination and prioritising skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated competence with computer software and systems
- Strong desire to learn and advance career
Qualifications and/or experience in a construction trade or project management is an advantage.
