SalaryDue to rapid business growth Dirty Diggers are seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator/ Project Coordinator to join the close knit team.
Based in Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Dirty Diggers have built a strong reputation across Melbourne focusing on all aspects of Concrete, Excavation and Asphalt works. The business is now focusing on larger scale Civil Projects which is where this role comes into play.
The Estimator/Project Coordinator will be working closely with the Owners to proactively source new projects and build on the company's succession plan. This role will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates, tender applications, and end to end project management.
The right candidate would have:
- Extensive Civil Estimator knowledge (5 years min)
- Ability to interpret and relay plans
- Concrete/Excavation Industry experience
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of concrete materials, methods and techniques
- Strong communication skills
The role would consist of:
- Project Estimating/costings/budget control
- Project tenders
- Proactively source new projects
- Analysing material, labour and equipment factors for each project
- Provide detailed updates to Owners/Project Managers and other stakeholders
- Build relationships with suppliers/ Key Stakeholders and all staff
