AddressWe invite diligent, self-motivated and experienced European Portuguese speakers to conduct a face-to-face language course for adults.
- The course runs from 22 July 2024 and 13 December 2024
- Location/format: in person, near Altona Meadows, Melbourne
- The work hours will be 0800 to 1630 with one hour meal break
- There are 5 students at intermediate level
- Course materials will be provided
- You will be responsible for teaching, lesson preparation, assessment and other administrative tasks
- Remuneration is $60 per hour, superannuation on top
- The job can be shared by two teachers. But you must have at least two to three full days available per week to apply part-time.
You must be/have:
- fluent in European Portuguese language (i.e. you are from Portugal)
- university educated, preferably with a degree in education/teaching
- at least one year of English or Portuguese language teaching experience (with adults)
- fluent in written and spoken English
- good knowledge of the history, politics and culture of Portugual
- able to follow guidelines, friendly, confident
- passionate and enjoy teaching
