About the roles
Event Day Bar & Wait Attendants - Function and Corporate Facilities: Ian McLachlan, William Magarey, Leigh Whicker... do these names ring a bell? Our prestigious function rooms and Corporate spaces have a history to be upheld and deserve the finest experience you can deliver. If you are a master of carrying three plates, can set a room to the finest detail, and can use your customer service skills to win over the crowd no matter who the player is, then polish up those boots and join the Corporate/F&E team.
Leading into the AFL Season our Adelaide Oval Hospitality teams have a number of exciting Event Day casual roles in Corporate and Functions.
These casual positions offer minimum shifts from 3 hours on major event and game days perfect for someone looking for some casual work to make a bit of extra cash. Check the 'What's on' section on our website to ensure you can service the line up of entertainment coming to Adelaide Oval.
In particular, we are seeking those with:
- High end or corporate clientele exposure, suite hosting, or functions experience.
- Table waiting, bar and barista experience.
- Availability to work major event events at Adelaide Oval. This includes ‘after hours’ and weekend work.
- A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for working in hospitality.
- Excellent personal presentation and customer service.
- Fun, can do attitude, coupled with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic Food Hygiene/Food Safety qualifications are required for these roles.
