Eventpower Solutions deploy electricians in the installation of temporary power, specialising in major events. We deliver quality workmanship and customer service that is second to none. We are proud of our capacity to provide power solutions to difficult or unusual customer problems and we offer an after-hours service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We are one of the very few companies in Australia to specialise in this field.
Eventpower Solutions is a family owned company that started over ten years ago. Within the company are constant opportunities for growth and personal development. We utilise technology to continually improve and always strive to be the best in our field. There are no customer problems we don't have an answer for.
We build and service all of our own equipment that is used to supply power to events such as:
- The Australian Open
- The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix
- Lightscape Melbourne
- A Day on the Green
Within the company are many opportunities to learn new things and understand systems that very few electricians ever come across.
You will get training in the operation of diesel generators, lighting systems, switchboard construction, design and a lot more.
The event season is basically six months of intense work that will require lots of weekend work and the opportunity to earn a substantial amount of money in a short period. This offers a lifestyle for travel during the quieter months or the chance for continual work to increase income.
The headquarters is located in Port Melbourne and most of the work is located in and around Melbourne, but a portion of the work will require travel and sometimes up to a week away from home.
Please note that the position will begin on a casual contract for 2 months with the opportunity to progress to full-time for the right candidate.
