• You will be tasked with leading and motivating onsite teams of talented Blasting Professionals and Operators, to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services on our customer site;
• Providing analytical/decision-making support to the Project Manager on continuous improvement planning to decrease operational costs;
• Recruiting, training and retaining employees; and
• Scheduling the onsite team's daily activities to meet customer requirements and ensure sound management of site including raw material ordering and preventative maintenance.
• Incident management and reporting.

What you will bring

• Most importantly, championing our most important value - Safety is the priority, always;
• Previous underground and/or heavy industry experience is essential;
• Knowledge and/or experience in Drill & Blast would be highly regarded;
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role responsible for people, assets and customers;
• A NSW Dangerous Goods licence or the ability to obtain one; and
• The ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol.
