We are currently looking for a highly experienced and creative Event Marketing Specialist to join our team based in Sydney.

About the Role:
The Marketing and Events Specialist drives the strategy and delivery of international and domestic recruitment events for UTS College, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives to amplify engagement and recruitment. This role requires strategic planning, execution, and collaboration, with a focus on delivering events that captivate through storytelling, authenticity, and premium experiences. In addition to orchestrating UTS College's event initiatives, this position also plays a supportive role in significant domestic recruitment activities in collaboration with UTS.
This is a 10 month fixed term parental leave cover until January 2025.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will need to be a degree qualified marketing and events professional with 7+ years relevant marketing and events management experience supporting geographically and culturally diverse markets.
To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will also bring the following skills and attributes:
- A degree in marketing, communications, or a related relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience in all areas of marketing communications - promotional campaigns, direct marketing campaigns, advertising, marketing collateral design and production, social media etc.
- Superior written and verbal communications skills (copywriting and proof reading is critical in this role)
- Data-driven and proficient in reporting and analysing event and marketing activities
- Experience planning and executing a diverse variety of events, both face-to-face and online
- Experience developing and managing events for culturally and geographically diverse audiences
- Culturally competent, demonstrated a high level of cross-cultural respect and understanding
- Technically savvy in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools and platforms (CRM, CMS, eDM tools, event platforms)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities, stakeholders, and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
