Overall Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute successful Colour Frenzy Fun Run events across various locations in Australia.
- Ensure all events adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and local council permits.
- Foster a positive and energetic atmosphere for participants, volunteers, and staff.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of Colour Frenzy.
Key Duties:
Pre-Event Planning:
- Secure event permits and locations in collaboration with local councils.
- Develop and manage and secure sponsorships.
- Design and manage event logistics, including course layout, colour stations, equipment and rentals.
- Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination.
Event Day Management:
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is functional and safe.
- Manage volunteers, and vendors, ensuring smooth operations.
- Act as the main point of contact for volunteers and participant, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Monitor safety and security throughout the event.
- Ensure all permits and regulations are adhered to.
- Foster a fun and energetic atmosphere for participants.
Post-Event Wrap-Up:
- Collect and analyse event data, including participant, volunteer, and vendor feedback.
- Prepare post-event reports and financial reconciliations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future events.
- Maintain positive relationships with local councils, sponsors, volunteers, and vendors.
Nice to Have:
Previous event and council experience is a bonus, but your passion and personality matter most!
