MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Advertising conferences, conventions, and trade shows to prospective clients
-Addressing inquiries about available services and pricing for venue rental, equipment, catering, and associated amenities.
-Meeting with clients to understand their requirements and presenting tailored package options.
-Coordinating various services including venue facilities, catering, signage, audio-visual equipment, lodging, transportation, and social activities for attendees.
-Managing participant registration, negotiating service types and costs within budget constraints.
-Supervising contractors' tasks while reporting any deviations from the original work orders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Degree of Events Management or Advanced Diploma of Management
Experience:
1 to 3 years experience as Events Organiser
Skills:
· Advanced Level of English, Spanish & Portuguese
· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Organised and able to meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
