The role:
As one of Sydney’s most trusted venues and Australia’s largest hotel, we are excited to provide motivated individual’s the opportunity to join our Events Service team. This is the perfect opportunity for you to grow your career in a service environment! You will play a critical role providing our valued guests and clients with exceptional friendly and efficient service, creating seamless, exceptional experiences. As an Events Service Attendant, you will support the wider Events team to bring to life amazing events held over our 21 event and conference spaces. This is a front of house, operational role where no two days are the same.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Possess a friendly demeanour and excellent interpersonal relationship skills to be able to relate well with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates
- Have the strength to lift and move equipment, and be on your feet for an extended period of time
- Provide a professional customer service-friendly personality
- Have excellent presentation and grooming
- Possess a valid NSW RSA
- Have the ability to work a seven (7) day rotating roster including weekends
Responsibilities include:
- Create memorable experiences for our guests through care and empathy
- Execute the set-up and pack-down of function spaces according to specifications
- Adapt and think quickly in high pressure situations
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Support the wider Events and Conference team
