What do Service Attendants do?
Service attendants are customer service-minded specialists that help improve the quality of life for village residents living and working away from home:
Mandatory Requirement: Possess NSW Class A Competency Card for service in Retail or Tavern.
Stock Management: Rotate and replenish stock to maintain inventory efficiency.
Kitchen Assistance: Provide support in the kitchen to ensure smooth operations.
Cleaning Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including bathrooms.
Bar Experience: Demonstrate proficiency in bar-related tasks.
Barista Skills: Possess experience and skills as a Barista for coffee preparation.
What does it take to work FIFO?
The FIFO lifestyle can be very rewarding, but it isn’t for everyone. Consider what to expect and what is required of you when assessing your options:
- Ability to work combined day/night shifts as required.
- Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to multi-task and assist in other areas with positive teamwork approach.
- Ability to understand the requirements of safe work and safety protocols.
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing.
