About the Role
The Food and Beverage Events Manager will oversee the outlet within the hotel. Responsibilities include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. The Food and Beverage Events Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Building and nurturing positive, professional relationships with both guests and colleagues alike.
- Effective management of Outlet roster.
- Managing service across outlets and service periods.
- Ensuring outlets are prepared for service according to defined standards.
- Conducting pre-service meetings, as required.
- Ensuring all opening, handover and closing checklists are completed.
- Ensure all relevant guest information is being communicated to team members and kitchen, as required.
- Effectively communicating to other Food and Beverage management.
- Competently completing daily administration and reporting.
- Developing and maintaining service standards.
