About the Job
We are seeking Event Setup & Pack Up Crew. You will be responsible for setting and packing up our events. Setups will include unloading trucks & vans, installing lighting while on a ladder, moving furniture, setting tables with cutlery, plates, glassware and linen, setting up basic sound systems and assembling simple furniture. Pack downs will include loading trucks, uninstalling lighting, washing cutlery/crockery/glassware, and minor repairs on equipment. Due to the nature of the events industry, some of the work will be late at night and on weekends. For example it would be typical to work some shifts during the week setting up events and washing tableware, and some shifts on a Friday or Saturday night from 11pm to 3am packing up an event. The work will generally be located within 15-20 minutes of the CBD. We have plenty of shifts and growth potential within the company for the right people.

Requirements (Please respond to each of these in your application)
• Manual driver’s licence
• Comfortable driving a van or a small truck (car licence only)
• Comfortable climbing a ladder
• Confident setting up basic AV equipment,lighting, projectors & sound systems
• Happy to work on a flexible roster with regular weekends & late night
• Must be in Melbourne for minimum 6 months Experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person.
