Form of workAs a leader in freight logistics for events, trade shows and exhibitions, this company has seen great growth over the past couple of years and are now expanding their team. Assisting with many events throughout Australia, they are requiring another Site Coordinator in Victoria. You will be able to lead a team, confidently liaise with stakeholders and event organisers and help on the floor with the “bump in” and “bump out” of these events.
Their office is based in Campbellfield; however, most events will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre so having reliable transport to be able to travel to and from there is required. You will be responsible for: Ensuring timely and accurate execution of the logistics for events
Delegating, managing, and assisting an onsite team of up to 10 forklift drivers and labourers Liaising and updating organisers and key stakeholders Ensuring safety onsite
About you: A background in transport, logistics, team leading or similar is ideal but not essential General interest in the events space
Strong time management and organisation skills Confident in communicating with key stakeholders and event organisers Well presented and punctual
Availability to work a range of hours and days (including weekends) Physically fit as you will be on your feet for long hours and there is manual handling required Forklift license or willing to obtain
