About the Role

The Events and Engagement Officer is an integral part of the ACT Chapter team, contributing to the Institute’s ongoing growth and supporting colleagues across the chapter. This role provides a positive member experience and delivers a practical, relevant and responsive member engagement program across the full spectrum of the ACT Chapter’s delivery.

What you will bring

• Demonstrated experience in Events and member services roles, with a focus on partnerships, event delivery and support.
• Experience in finance administration, support, and reporting.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in events or business management, including the ability to secure sponsors and partners.
• Flexibility to work outside normal office hours on occasion. 
• High level written and oral communication skills. 
• Experience in using the Microsoft Office suite of software.
